    A friend quipped that the dilemma of employment/unemployment is the inverse relationship of time and funds. When you are employed, you have little time to enjoy the money that you are earning. When you are unemployed you few funds to spend during the time you have free. Gardening (assuming that you already have the supplies and tools) is a good way to use all the free time.
