A pilot took this photo while flying through a rainbow.
Beautiful photo, but I’m pretty sure the laws of physics (and optics) prevents viewing a rainbow while IN it. Photoshop’d perhaps?

Ah yes, the Guardian article called it what it is: polarization, not rainbow. It was due to the plastics in the window through which the photo was shot. Makes perfect sense. 😀
