Well, for those of us not in LA, it was a big night there with Britney Spears and Madonna on the same stage (and Justin and Madonna on the stage too)! Britney looked great. Madonna, well, “old hag” about sums it up. Read on:
Fans turning up for the Britney Spears and Madonna reunion would have been expecting to see the 26-year-old in a typically raunchy outfit.
But instead the 50-year-old Material Girl was the one wearing the more revealing clothes as the pair performed a duet on stage.
The pop megastars looked like they should have swapped outfits as they sang together at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles during Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour.

A demure looking Britney, dressed in a simple white blouse and black trousers was invited on stage by Madonna and joined in with one of her songs.
And Madonna was also joined by Justin Timberlake to perform their hit duet 4 Minutes.
Rumours that the former lovers Justin and Britney, who split in 2002 after four years, would perform together with Madonna proved unfounded though as they did not appear together on stage.

During the show, Madonna time out of singing to praise new U.S. President Barack Obama and expressed her disappointment that Californians had voted to veto the state’s recent approval of gay marriage.
She said: ‘We have something to celebrate! I’m about the happiest girl on the planet right.
‘I’m very sorry to hear we did not win on Proposition 8, but we will never give up the fight, no we will not.
‘If we got an African-American in the White House, then we can have gay marriages.’
The three stars sharing the same stage appeared quite a draw to the Hollywood crowd.
Among the stars in attendance at the gig were German supermodel Heidi Klum, Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere, Kate Moss, Jennifer Lopez and former Ally McBeal star Lucy Liu.

Also watching were Madonna’s two eldest children Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, eight.
It’s a bit different from the last time Britney and Madonna appeared on stage together.
The pair caused a stir in 2003 when they shared a steamy lesbian kiss live on stage during the opening performance on the MTV Music Awards in New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
It’s not the first they have collaborated together, with Madonna appearing on Britney’s track ‘Me Against the Music’ on her In The Zone album.

The comeback Queen was pictured last week dressed up as a witch as she took her two sons Jayden James and Sean Preston trick or treating.
She posted the shots on her website, along with the cover art for her new album Circus, which is due out on her birthday on December 2.
And the ‘Womanizer’ singer is set to appear on the X Factor show in two weeks’ time to meet the contestants and perform her new single.
Madonna has thrown herself into her 32-concert Sticky and Sweet tour of the Americas after the announcement of her divorce with Guy Ritchie.
She faces a bitter divorce battle with the film director, with Kabbalah leaders demanding a quick out of court settlement.

I think Britney looks very nice in her outfit, classy, the better of the two. Madonna looks like she always does, hideously muscular, its not sexy at all! Time she covered up just a bit.

Does Madonna really think she looks sexy or appealing? Sexiness is often about implication and what you DON’T show – and about having womanly curves, not sinew and veins. In this instance, Britney Spears – fully covered up – looks far sexier than Madonna. I wish Madonna would stop trying to find ways to continually shock us and just settle down to perform and entertain – all while better dressed!

Madonna looks horrendous. I really have no idea who on this Earth gave her the impression she looked good! Britney Spears on the other hand looked elegant and sophisticated and was dressed perfectly for her cameo appearance. NOBODY should be wearing Madonna’s hideous outfit!

What a difference 5 years makes. Madonna looks so much better five years ago, much softer and much more attractive. Britney just looks fantastic now. The more clothes you wear, the better you look, has never been more expertly demonstrated!

Madonna has always done her own thing style wise and we’ve pretty much loved her for it but there comes a point even if you’re Madonna that you stand next to a 20 something and look your age. Maybe it’s the stress of touring and marriage breaking up but she does not look good.

Couldn’t they have found a happy medium? Britney looks like she was on the way to the office when she suddenly remembered she was supposed to be at the gig and didn’t have time to change; Madonna looks like she’s trying too hard to prove Guy’s comments about her age weren’t true.

Great show for the most part, although one could do without the insults and profanity. She is an amazing dancer, though, and I enjoyed her guitar strummin’ skills! Inspiring on some levels, but she seems so self-absorbed to an almost unrealistic degree.

Madonna’s hands are so veiny now with all that working out that she has to wear those fingerless gloves all the time. Her legs are fab she just needs to stop exersicing her arms as they are too muscular to look feminine. Maybe some men like that??

I agree with the reporter … they should have swapped outfits! Britney’s body would have looked soooo much better in Madonna’s outfit, and vice versa.
