You know why sales for the Wii U have been remarkably low since its release? Because Nintendo pulls shit like it did today.

With the new Xbox Infinity and PS4 nearing release, the previously obsolete Wii U is becoming even MORE outdated. Hard to believe, I know. But heck, it's Nintendo, the company who gave me childhood memories, so why not shell out a little cash to support an old friend, right?

Those of us willing to shell out some extra cash for IMAX 3D got the pleasure of seeing the new Star Trek not only early, but with the added bonus of one BAD-ASS poster only given to people who attended. While those two things justified the IMAX 3D price tag easily, everyone else not receiving that might be a little hesitant to spend their hard-earned money on cinematic gimmicks, or even on the movie itself.

While the Robert Redford version of The Great Gatsby maintained a tame and grounded atmosphere for the cinematic adaptation of Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel, Baz Luhrmann throws that all out the window to provide what is undoubtedly the definitive theatrical representation of a timeless book. What it lacks in subtlety it makes up for in purely explosive presentation, overexaggerating to the point of being irrestistably absorbing.
