The person posting this obviously didn’t do any fact checking. There is a major shortage in the supply lines of high grade silicon since China bought up most of the available chain. They also didn’t research the amount of power needed to purify the components into a usable format. There is a reason that Evergreen Solar, First Solar, Sun Solar…ect (all backed by money outside of the US) failed. The power cost in purification and vaporization require mass power of coal or nuclear to be used. It can be argued that many silicon sheets have a larger carbon footprint than the resources they compete with since it takes such an extreme amount of power to chemically engineer the components.
BTW, do tell when Africa is intended to be able to provide teh power for the entire world? What’s the time line on that bit-o-propaganda..lol

Like all good spokesmen for their cause you answer in short-term, small minded words of non-wisdom. No one said they would or could do it in a day or month or year. By then new technology would be developed to give the world – or whoever asked for it – the energy.
