“Family believes cruise passenger jumped into sea”

Hello, gentle blog reader,

Perhaps, like me, you’ve been following the story of a passenger who “fell” overboard Christmas night on a Norwegian Cruise Line ship.  Here’s the story:

I don’t believe for one second that it was suicide, based on the evidence: First, her husband was already accused of domestic battery earlier in the year; he didn’t even bother to report she was missing for EIGHT HOURS; and then he engagedly gambles at the casino the next day!!!

This is not the profile of a loving, caring husband who was genuinely concerned about his wife!!!!  John Walsh (from “America’s Most Wanted”), where are you?  I’d love to know what he was putting on his cabin charges, especially for gambling and alcohol, before his wife went overboard.

As for the parents’ comments, my best guess is that they don’t want the public to know about all of their daughter’s troubles; hence, “dead is dead”–they want to put this in the past rather than endure years of public examination and humiliation.

Reminds me of Scott and Laci Peterson… I hope the FBI nails the husband.
