Hello, gentle blog reader,

What goes around, comes around–and, in the case of upscale swindler Bernie Madoff, it’s been a quick turnaround at that.

Bernie Madoff, New York’s $50 billion ripoff artist, had a $10k statue stolen from his Palm Beach estate recently.

Frankly, looking at the picture of the artwork, I don’t think worth $10k, but maybe Madoff’s trying to rip off his insurance company too !

Candy Canes Fight Germs and Help Irritable Bowel Syndrome!

Hello, gentle blog reader,

As I sit here, munching on a candy cane that I pulled off of my Christmas tree, lo and behold, the Discovery Channel reports that the peppermint oil in the candy helps kill bacteria and helps alleviate the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.

It’s great that science has come forth to justify my taste in holiday sweets,  so I’ll be sure to eat more candy canes (for their anti-bacterial properties, of course!).
